Sarrià de Ter, 1985
Although he is a relatively young artist, he has a surprising career and prolific work in different fields. Performer, sculptor, painter, poet, musician and lyricist, he approaches the Renaissance ideal of the universal artist who moves between the oneiric and the empiric University.
He has held numerous exhibitions and received several awards in painting, sculpture, illustration design, posters, magazine covers, role-playing games and musical compositions.
Understanding art as a tool for social transformation, his works are created from a subversive view of reality, impregnated with a certain visual poetry. He highlights social injustices and ecological disorder. He vindicates essential rights and the conservation of the environment through a work which, more than that of an artist, is that of an alchemist capable of transforming what seems to us to be waste into art. Massegú lives in his own Museum House in Sarrià de Ter, where he also creates his works, gives guided tours and workshops.
